Background:
Orphaned after his parents died in a terrorist bombing, Arthur was sent to live with his Canadian relatives, the Knights.  A child prodigy and the president of the Strangers' Club, he rarely leaves Redington on cases.  In fact, he rarely appears in public except at club meetings.  While he assists with various tasks in the Knight Foundation, he keeps in touch with the Strangers and has recently started giving Shirley information.  Although he is willing to help Shirley in her cases, he is reluctant to tell her everything he knows.

Physical Appearance and Other Traits:
Arthur has brown hair with long bangs that cover his forehead.  Large-lensed glasses correct his vision.  Arthur prefers to wear very colorful clothing, a strange choice for someone who prefers not to be noticed.  Occasionally he blows bubbles from a plastic pipe.

Personality:
Arthur has the alturism from his Canadian relatives and does his best to help people.  Although he prefers not to go out much, he is a friendly person despite his serious demeanor, and even that exhibits cracks on rare occasions.  He genuinely cares for his fellow Strangers and will do anything for them.  However, Arthur is very secretive and evasive about the specifics of his past among other things.  According to his fellow Strangers, he should never be angered, and the death of his parents still affects him and disturbs briefly his self-control.

Relationships:
Arthur is loved by his family, and he returns the favor by helping out at the Knight Foundation.  Although only the Big Ten truly know him, he is respected by his fellow Strangers and has also taken an interest in Bart.  He is also able to keep Collette under control.  Due to Arthur's general evasiveness, Shirley and her friends are curious about him as well as being suspicious of his motives.  Arthur also seems to have various contacts in numerous fields.

Abilities and Paraphernalia:
Arthur apparently possesses no super abilities.  His greatest assets are his brilliant mind, computer expertise, and leadership skills.  He is an expert in every known field of knowledge.  He carries a comlink, bubble pipe, and umbrella with him.

HA's Comments:
Well, I couldn't help but create someone who is willing to help Shirley fight ENIGMA, but has secrets of his own.  It's obvious Arthurian legend was a big influence in creating him, but you can blame The X-Files for his secretiveness.  The bubble blowing, colorful clothing, and umbrella were just added to make him more eccentric.  His physical appearance comes from a previous character design.  It pays to keep your older work.
