Background:
The youngest daughter of Nathan and Regan Knight, Lucy
is a child prodigy who graduated from the University of Redington as a
major in computer sciences. Her parents do their best to protect
their child's privacy and preserve a semblance of a normal life.
Despite her sheltered life, she works to help out her fellow human beings
as both a tutor for her mother's Knight Foundation Scholarship Program
and as a member of the Strangers' Club. One of the Big Ten who founded
the group, Lucy is usually a team leader on many of its cases.
Physical Appearance and Other Traits:
Lucy has brown hair usually tied into a ponytail.
She is at the average height for girls her age. Needing glasses,
she wears a pair of goggle-like eyewear that is very durable.
Personality:
Lucy inherited her parents' alturistic views and abilitiy
to socialize with anyone, making her a very charitable and social person.
She is always concerned about people, including her fellow Strangers.
Like Shirley, she can not stand by while an injustice is being committed
and will act to correct it.
Relationships:
Lucy loves her mother and father and keeps in touch with
her older sister. She gets along with her cousin Arthur and the other
Strangers. She also gets along with Shirley, seeing her as a kindred
spirit. Perhaps her most talked about relationship (within the Strangers'
Club at least) is the one she has with fellow Big Ten member C.D. Morgan.
According to some Strangers, she shows a lot of affection for her American
teammate and is very concerned when they are on separate missions.
Abilities and Paraphernalia:
Lucy possesses excellent leadership and computer skills.
She is very athletic, which helps when she is a dangerous situation.
In addition, she is a psychic, although the extent or specifics of her
powers is not clear. It can be guessed she possesses some ability
to manipulate matter, telekinesis, or both.
Lucy applies her powers through her scarf, which can extend
to incredible lengths and assume a variety of forms including a hand drill
and a flat, sharp blade. She keeps in touch with her fellow Strangers
with her comlink.
HA's Comments:
I have to thank R.A. Boo for helping me come up with
Lucy. We were chatting one night, and the recently deceased ER character
of Lucy Knight (played by Kellie Martin of Life Goes On, Christy, and various
TV movies) came up. After I heard Boo lament her passing, my overactive
imagination decided to create a new character with that name. Lucy's
use of a scarf as a weapon came from Rose, a video game character from
Capcom's Street Fighter Alpha/Zero series. As for her glasses, I
was going for a futuristic look.
