The Players from the Show

So, how does the cast from the show compare to their fanfic counterparts?  Read on to find out.

NOTE:  This is subject to change as more stories are posted.  You have been warned.

Shirley Holmes:
The main protagonist, this great-grandniece of Sherlock Holmes still solves mysteries in the Canadian city of Redington using deductive skills and an arsenal of crime-solving tools.  Although she's still as logical as her famous ancestor, she finds herself attracted to newcomer Blake Hewitt.

Bo Sawchuk:
Shirley's Dr. Watson, Bo's struggling with a problem that's developed over three years.  To his total surprise, he's fallen in love with his best friend and technically should be Blake's rival for her affections.  However, Bo constantly denies his romantic feelings for reasons only known to him.  Sometimes acting awkward around Shirley, Bo is still at her side no matter how dangerous the situation.

Molly Hardy:
Shirley's nemesis, Molly is still the scheming, vindictive sociopath who is the darling of Sussex Academy and the cyber-goddess of gossip and master manipulator known as Y.  Unfortunately, an encounter with the ENIGMA organization momentarily left her a nervous wreck.  She claims to be fine, but is that truly the case?

Bart James:
Bart's still interested in all things abnormal, but this time he's got a new group affiliation.  As a member of the Strangers' Club, he nvestigates various cases that somewhat involve all things spooky, strange, and dangerous.  The end result is a life filled with more excitement than usual.  His new activities have given him a group of new people to interact with including his girlfriend Susan March and self-proclaimed nemesis Number Nine-Nine.

Stink Patterson:
Funnyman Stink hasn't really changed from his TV counterpart.  Still infatuated with Molly, he's trying stand-up comedy, but he's still willing to do the occasional practical joke.

Alicia Gianelli:
This fashion-conscious daughter of an Italian diplomat is still boy-crazy (she was very happy when Ms. Stratmann chose her to guide Blake around Sussex) and still works at the Quazar Cafe.  She's also the unwilling object of Parker's affections.

Parker:
Er, not much has changed for this redheaded background character (his first name is still unknown).  He's still around, but as of now, he's a confirmed member of Sussex Academy's Science Club and he's got a crush on Alicia.

Robert Holmes:
Father of Shirley, this British diplomat is still unaware of his daughter's adventures as an amateur detective.  Except for a brief period, he still finds a clipped newspaper in the morning.

Joanna Holmes:
Now back with her family after believed to have been a casualty in Rwanda, this virologist works at the Redington Infectious Diseases Laboratory.  She also takes the time to reconnect with her daughter.

Peggy Holmes:
Um, I haven't used her much as of this writing, but I guarantee you she's still the same energetic person.  Really.

Watson:
This basset hound still lies around the Holmes residence.  In short, not much of a difference from the show.

Ms. Stratmann:
This stern headmistress of Sussex Academy hasn't changed much, but she was an unwilling participant in one of ENIGMA's plans to eliminate Shirley.

Mr. Howie:
Still the history teacher at Sussex, he's still hesitant to believe Bart's nonconventional ideas.

Detective Tremain:
Still encountering Shirley in his line of duty, this policeman now works with Inspector Hewitt on most cases, especially the ones involving ENIGMA.
