Appearance:
Green eyes, usually has spiked
hair, wears leather jackets sometimes, strong and broadly built, usually
in a happy mood, not much of a joker and serious with times, open &
loyal. Has Australian accent.
Abilities:
Opposed to his lack of knowledge
of chemistry Jeffrey has many other abilities. Among other things he is
quite a skilled guitar player (even though he never made it as a pro).
He is also good with computers and fluent in several foreign languages
due to visits to his father on his tours (Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, German,
and French). Because of this he also learned some slights of hand that
come in handy very much during crime solving with Shirley (example: pick-pocketing).
Being Australian he is also able to throw a boomerang. To round off his
busy schedule he also plays professional table tennis in a club.
Feelings:
As soon as Jeffrey met Shirley
he developed feelings for her that, until now at least where unanswered,
except for the few meaningful glares he got but didn’t notice. He feels
it is hard to find out what she really thinks, but has no intentions to
give up finding out. He doesn’t see Bo as a threat because of that. He
is still a friend. That’s due to his outward orientation and loyalty to
friends. For a long time he felt guilty about what happened to Mark during
the ‘accident’ caused by The Color Brigade.
Whenever Jeffrey is confronted
with injustice, violence, or sadness, his initial response is anger. But
he usually resolves the conflict by staying calming and outsmarting the
opposition.
MGM's Comments:
Jeffrey is a mix of all the things
I like. He is friendly, knows magic, and has a mother that works in the
chemistry sector. And since I know about these things and like them, it
is easy to write about Jeffrey. It is odd though, that the picture with
this file isn't permanent. It doesn't matter how hard I try, but I can't
make an image that holds on him. His hair color, for example, is something
I'm still not sure of.
Furthermore, Jeffrey is a direct
product of my idea to write a series (inspired by HA's terrific work).
The moment the first story popped into my head, Jeffrey came with it. His
name came from the Australian show 'Ocean Girl', in which Jeffrey Walker
(good actor) plays the role of Brett Bates. That might be part of the reason
why Jeffrey is Australian.
