PROFILE: LLOYD BRISBANE
Full name: Lloyd Brisbane
Nickname: David Gold (stagename)

First appeared in "The Case of the Crazy Kidnapping"

DOB: born in Perth, Australia.
Occupation: illusionist
Habits: trying illusions on family.
Likes: magic, family, golf.
Dislikes: -
Favorite saying: "Life is a mystery."

Appearance:
Lloyd is a long man with curly hair. Most of the time he wears casual clothing. Because of his background he has an Australian accent like the other people in the family. He has a shroud of mystery that surrounds him. His work enhances that. Toward other people he is nice and friendly.

Abilities:
The most striking one of his abilities is his magic. He has performed professionally since he was 20, but has been interested since he was 10. Because of his brand new perspective, his illusions became very popular and within 5 years he was famous all over the world. He received an honorary membership of the Magic Circle in Sydney he joined when he was 20. Touring around the world to perform left him with the ability to speak a few languages like his son (Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, German, French). Lloyd has the habit of trying illusions on his family and their friends before showing them in the Magic Circle.

Feelings:
Behind his nice exterior Lloyd is constantly worrying if his career doesn’t affect his family in a negative manner. He is very protective of them and because of that he installed a security system around the house. Naturally, he is highly suspicious of strangers. All this resulted in the move to Redington. This way Lloyd tried to shake the press of him as well as he could. Money is secondary to his family’s well-being and he shows it every chance he has.

MGM's Comments:
This character was created to give the stories their magical feeling. His curly hair probably came from Alan Davies/ Jonathan Creek.
