PROFILE: MARK BRISBANE
Full name: Mark Anthony Brisbane
Nickname: none

First appeared in “The Case of the Crazy Kidnapping”

DOB: March 16, 1987; Sydney, Australia.
(age 10 when first appeared)

Occupation: none
Habits: -
Likes: table tennis, SHADOW, Jewel.
Dislikes: violence, suffering
Favorite saying: none

Appearance:
In appearance Mark very much resembles Haley Joel Osment. It is so striking that most people who have seen both of them notice it. Blonde hair and blue eyes, hair usually worn just like Haley Joel Osment when he was young, wears normal jeans and a wide variety of shirts (checkered, white and colored), skinny built yet quite strong for his age (comes in handy during table tennis sessions), usually in a hyperactive & happy mood. Was inward and sad when he became deaf, but turned into the obnoxious little kid he is supposed to be when he started to talk without signing. Because he can’t hear himself talk his voice sounds a little odd, nevertheless it has an Australian accent. As a result of the car crash Mark has a scar across the side of his chest where he was operated.

Abilities:
Because of his disability he learned how to read lips and use signs for speaking. He knows a few small magic tricks Lloyd taught him. Just like his brother he also plays professional table tennis in a club. Some coaches tip him as a future world champion.

Feelings:
Even though Jeffrey offered him the seat in the car that turned out to be the cause of his handicap, he never blamed him for it. However, he kept Jeffrey in the dark about that, so he would play with Mark just because of his feelings of guilt. He likes to watch how SHADOW jump around on stage even though he can’t hear the music.

MGM's Comments:
Again one of my favorite actors managed to find their way into my writing. I thought up the accident and Mark being deaf in order to give the story a sense of drama. Until then the stories were always happy. It was also a chance to do research in sign language.
